No way I could be away from my kid for as long as he claims regardless of the billions I had coming. So I think you are 100% spot on with one of these reasons.

What makes you think he needs a solution ?
He has a solution in place already since last year. He cannot go home, he will be arrested. For as long as he keeps this charade in Canada, we keep sending him money.
He already got the solution since early last year.
